Garage Build (Pennsylvania)

Hello everyone! Been reading the forums for a little while and finally joined!

Current plan is to begin the build this May. With all the quotes and plans almost done, next will be the township for permits.

I will continue to update this as everything falls into place.

Building is going to be 48' x 36' x 14' with a 30' x 16' x 10' overhung porch and storage area.

Here are 2 shots of the property now. We have an oversized 4 bay currently. The new building will be almost a mirror of the current garage just bigger.

Hey everyone! Quick update! About 4 weeks from now we will start putting the building up!
Plans are complete and permit is in my hands from the township!
Here are some pictures of the staked out site. And my dog Maggie. Haha!

Lights are on order. We are doing 9 T5HO fixtures. There will be 4 4' long lamps for each. I went with 5000K for the temperature. Hopefully they look good with the higher temperature.
Additionally we are adding 2 industrial fans to help circulate everything.

This week it begins! Wednesday excavation starts.



In the mean time, started my first garden this spring/summer. It's been a fun project building the fence and planting with my family. Here are some pics!

Today there was a lot of progress made. The 14' is a lot higher than I imagined! Haha.
We also made a last minute switch from the 2 16' x 10' garage doors to 2 16' x 12' garage doors.
Anyways. Here are some pics. Friday the trusses go up!

The rest of the day was continuing with trim and soffit. Everything is set for the rest of the panels to go up tomorrow.
Friday they put center drain for building and another drain for the compressor we ordered.
Monday concrete gets poured. [emoji16]

Just a few trim pieces left and the exterior is done. I love how it turned out. Colors matched up pretty well with existing garage.

































We just came in from marking drain locations and the 2 pads for 6" concrete where the compressor and 2-post lift will be. [emoji106]
