Any knowledge of this brand? Looks like it's an Aussie/Kiwi brand, not sure if they sold out and are selling rebadged China wares or something though? Price seems reasonable (25% off w/ Zoro currently).

Here's what the importer says about 'em:

Don't know about the attachment, but when I see grinders that look like that I run the other way...

If that's what you want, you need to consider one of these old Craftsman Blocks. Check the restoration thread here on GJ.
But that Aussie import sounds worth looking at if you want a new machine.

Keep in mind that retrofitting the MT belt adapter to a block grinder is not straightforward--a spacer block and arbor spacers must be machined. The results could be outstanding, but for the casual DIY it is much easier to install the MT adapter on a conventional grinder using the supplied hardware. And at the going rate now for block grinders (and the necessary machined parts), it might actually be competitive to use a Baldor grinder as a donor as they directly fit.

I agree with the others that feel that the Linishall just screams Chicom

Linishall production moved to China but their older bench grinders were decent stuff made by Bramley (a Garrick Herbert brand) in New Zealand. You are better off finding something used.
