We ended up extending the lift pad another 2 feet for more play in where we put it.

Concrete under the roof is poured. The apron up to the blacktop will be probably tomorrow. They didn't want to pour without us having gutters yet and the strong storms that were expected.

In the mean time the electrician starts Monday. Then insulation and panels. Should be all wrapped up by end of next week. [emoji1]

Looking great.
Who is your builder?

Thank you!

JDS is the crew that Kohler and Kohler subs on their bigger buildings. They did our building.

That is a great Garage/Building. Couple of questions........First what are you going to use to insulate? Second what are those round looking things on the roof?

Insulation:

The things on the roof are to break ice and snow so it doesn't fall off the roof in a big sheets. [emoji106]

Great looking shop. Any plans for Hvac.

Good looking trucks BTW

I appreciate it! I just was reading up on your build. I couldn't see many photos I'll have to try on my laptop when I get home. Looks great though! And I see you are local. [emoji482]

I also see you have a 6.7 as well. The silver one in the pics is an '08 and the grey one is an '06.

Oh and regarding HVAC I'm hoping the side garage door creates a breeze and the insulation helps. Lol!
I have big fans being put in but no dedicated HVAC at this time.

yup just right up the road in Boiling Springs, but I'm back working in Saudi Arabia for another 6 weeks.

You should be good with a few fans. I plan on installing a double door in the rear of the building coming fall. That should help to create a breeze inside.

I was home a few weeks ago during those 100% humidity days. It wasn't too bad inside the shop even with a fan blowing. However as I get older I see climate control will be a must.

The side door helped a bit today. It was a nice breeze but it was still terrible outside. It doesn't help though that the heat index was over 100 degrees. Haha.

Love the build. Any way you can have them reframe the opening above the side overhang to put in some doors. Great area for storage up there.

Great idea! We actually thought the same thing a few days ago when looking at it. It just looks like it was meant for storage right!? Haha. [emoji1]
We had electric ran up there for a light and switch and when the paneling is installed inside a door or cutout will be there for the storage.

Just a few more shots. I'm out of town on business so I don't have as many as I would like.
Interior panels came today too!
