Hi! Just wanted to share my new building! It's 36 x 36 with 8 inch floors, sheeted the inside with CDX plywood. Lots of lights, sealed the floor, I don't know much about construction stuff I'm just a dumb diesel mechanic but I'll answer whatever questions I can. I plan on doing side work and building fast junk in here .

Here it is all done.

I put 8, 8 foot fixtures in there for lighting. Will put LED bulbs in later.

Here we are starting the painting. We put 2 coats of primer sealer on. Sprayed and back rolled.

Led exterior lighting is awesome.

First time I had a vehicle in here.

My tool box looks small in here!

My Bend Pak XPR 10A!

My artsy photo of my toys.

Tanks for looking!!

Impressive. I will be following this topic. Why do you need such a high roof?

I built it this way so we could add lean-to's on each side eventually. And just continue the roof line. I also needed the high walls for the 13 foot middle door. I'm a diesel mechanic, I wanted to be able to nose a semi truck in there. I have about 20 feet of space till the front of the semi would be at my lift. I also work on tractors. My in-laws are farmers and I do a lot of side work for them. So the floor was pou

OK that is a great idea for the future expansion.

Very nice! I like the concept of "fast junk"!

Welcome to Garage Journal, lots of great folks here:)

I like high ceilings, never had one "too high". If you enclose your compressor you can add a mezzanine storage above, etc.

Nice floor, by the way.

Thank you! The plan is to enclose the compressor. The project went over budget about 20% due to changes made as we went and it was probably under bid a little bit so I didn't have the contractor do that. I'm hoping I can set my compressor on a rubber mat temporarily and build some sort of enclosure for it later. Expansion was kept in mind when it was designed. High ceilings just make it feel so much nicer too I'm very happy how it came out.
