We’ve had requests for many colors, but one color has topped the list: pink. Should we start production?

Thoughts?

Strictly as a business decision, I would think only offering them during Breast Cancer Awareness Month would be sensible.

At least with pink it'd be easier to identify them as your's in a shop of a bunch of manly guys. Unless, of course, they have the same idea and also buy pink.

Personally, I like your green tools best, but I wouldn't object to pink. Certainly stands out more.

Getting close. I was thinking more of a neon pink though!
Maybe a few test colors before production begins. Just my opinion though. :D

Yes. I love quality pink tools. One of those and a mid size ball peen please. Oh and a big one. If I'm gonna have one sledge it should be pink.
More of neon would be cool, but not a deal breaker that color. Also putting a ribbon on it and donating a percentage would be cool.

Part of the plan from the beginning has been breast cancer awareness, with a portion of sales going to Susan G. Komen.

If my baby turns out to be a girl next month I'm buying a few for her. If it's a boy I'll just buy him a set of other colors

I think that's against the law now-a-days :headscrat

Damn TC, I'd really dig a set of that color. Can I get some trade in credit if I return all the red ones I bought over the last year or so........only slightly broken in?. :rocker:

Please don't donate to Susan G. Komen. They're known for suing other breast cancer foundations. They've had very controversial compensation for their CEO, and spend more on litigation than any of the other breast cancer foundations.

Some sources:

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2010/12/07/komen-foundation-charities-cure_n_793176.html

Plenty more available if you do a simple google search. They're at the very least, controversial.

P.S, working on construction sites, as well as customers' homes, it's a great conversation starter with ladies when most of your screwdrivers, ratchets, and pliers are pink.

Should be a seasonal thing
Pink--Breast Cancer
3 Colors in one Set for Fourth of July, Labor Day, Memorial Day, Patriot Day -- Red, White, & Blue
Green, Red, Blue -- Christmas
Red--Valentine's Day

The list may go on--these color combinations may serve as perfect appreciation gifts even for those raising awareness

I have secretly wished you made pink hammers. I will definitely outfit my shop through my employer if you offer them as a standard item.

Man, am I the only one who chuckles over beating on stuff with a pink hammer? And yes, I'd probably buy a couple pink DBBPs....

Need some bright orange hammers!

I've got a mismatch of your red (mostly) and blue hammers and I wish I could just have them all in orange and be done with it :)

Call it 'safety orange' if need be.

I'm with you on liking orange but maybe since it's the only common tool color they seem to be staying away from, they just decided to leave the orange to all the cheap Chinese dead blow hammers on the market.
