I thought about providing gift receipts. Do those block sufficient info?

I do that alot as well..It essentially just has date,barcode,etc..maybe 2"tall..it allows HD to link it back to original receipt.

Can you get actual gift receipts from HD or are you just modifying your original/eReceipt? I've just been blacking out the personal information and price and have had a few people think it's sketchy since it's not an actual gift receipt.

you can get actual gift receipts at home depot but it's not always easy - I have had them have to get the head cashier and/or send me to the service desk (most cashiers don't know how to print a gift receipt). I have also paid with cash at times to get "clean" receipts. In both instances it is also helpful to have them ring the items up separately.

Unicorns. Gotta go back tomorrow for a couple more pumps and a generator. Didn't have time to get the rest (way up high, couldn't reach from the orange ladder).

^^^^ wow... was it advertised as $100 or only rang up $100 at the register?

been eyeing them but the refurbish ones carries only 90 day warranty instead of 1 year.... the price difference reflect that ... so really not a saving if it is at $388 or $318.

They have been sitting in the lumber section with their original 489.00 price tags for awhile now. I had an employee scan one a month or so ago and they were 358 so I had been waiting for them to drop again. I got the one for 100 because of the cosmetic damage but they all rang up 123.00.

I definitely don't have a use for an 80 gallon.. my 30 gallon Dewalt is plenty for me, plus the Dewalt is moveable. However, I might look for one for my dad, even though I just got him a Husky 30 gallon for a penny about 2 months ago...

All the guys looking for the larger husky compressors need to read the reviews. Half of them are awful. That's a lot of bad reviews. The smaller 30 gallons have much better reviews.

Buying husky and kobalt stuff is not always a good thing.

So jealous. Never find deals that good locally. I'd love to find one of those compressors. I'll have to go on the search again.

i missed the 30gal sale, hoping i either luck out on the bigger one or the belt driven 30 gal goes on sale shortly.

I have a oil and oiless and if you are just a home owner or small user don't waste the money on the oiless. The new oiless ones are much quieter than the old ones. They are both rated within 1db if I remember right and I'd say that is about right. I use a 10 year old craftsman at work that is oiless and it is at least twice as loud. It must have hundreds and hundreds of hours of use and still going strong too.

Noticed the flat panel LED garage lights all hit clearance at 2 of my local stores this week. Considering buying a few to return+buy when they drop further.

Tried to find the B&S gen in the system but it was still 599 in my area though not an exact match to the name on the pic earlier in the thread. Was it actually B&S manufactured or just the engine in a 3rd party unit? Saw another 5k but it was OOS.

I wouldn't waste a return rebuy on garage lights, I don't like to do that unless it's something I really want and they'll be sold out before it reaches .03.

Also, no everything drops more, somethings never drop below certain prices. In my area, it seems like A LOT of lights go on clearance, then stay at that price lever forever. I'll see yellow tags on lights that are a yr or two old and it's still that price.

Also those lights are pretty pricy. I wouldn't want that much on my credit card in the hopes it drops some day.

Go to garden and get a pole saw.I saw two 1000191798 at$172 25% off . I wander where they came from.

My area the pole saws hook area is covered with plastic packaging. I usually use a hoe and a ladder and pull it off and catch. Obviously you can only do it with lighter items.
