stopped by today because i was driving right past. big sign out front: Tent Sale! Lowest Prices!

there were not a lot of people there. i have seen it more crowded on a Wednesday morning. no lines at the register.

this time, for the first time i can remember, they had tool boxes out. they had 2 44's in the tent, still in the boxes, and 10 26" stacks lined up in front of the building, still in their boxes.

all this at 10am. on the second day.

it didnt look like there were a lot of empty boxes either. the "all tools N$" boxes were still pretty full. i understand that they might be refilling them, but the under table spaces in the tents were still full of the boxes meant to refill the tops.

i assume it is not like this everywhere.

Are you talking about Home Depot, or Harbor Freight? I've never seen a tent-sale at any HD.

Good, glad for a change. Now maybe all the guys hiding clearance items till they penny out will stop and allow others that play by hd rules to get decent discounts.

Hey look it's a lurker, wonder how much stuff you've found on this thread and never contributed? I bet it's a hand full of pennies at least.

The amount of egotistic self-importance here is amazing. Home Depot doesn't have to sell you ****, penny price or not. It's an obvious flaw in their system that is long overdue for a fix. If you are seriously affected by this, you need a better hobby.

I'm not an international jet-setting high roller. I get my Friday night thrills by scouring the shelves for penny items. That is my existence. What can I say.

I'm almost convinced this was the only way to do it. I never could find any penny items.

Now I see why you were so salty when I was expressing my opinion...makes sense...if I weren't ever lucky enough to stumble across penny items sitting on the shelf after sifting through pages on a forum dedicated to finding penny items, I might be a little discouraged and salty too...
