I'm in the process of rebuilding my Bosch Pather sawzall and I broke the triac Number (Motorola) SC146D B943. It's a two wire triac. I found two on ebay with the SC146D, but they are three wire and the suffix of the part numbers is different. Any idea if a two wire will work?

Or if anyone is placing an order I'd be more than glad to give you a decent donation for ordering me the correct part. I'm not in the mood to buy 100 of these or to spend hours on hours looking for it in a online catalog.:willy_nil

Take a look at the spec sheet in the link that laser3kw provided. The tab or flange can be used as one terminal, one of the outer pins will be the other terminal, and the opposite outer pin will be the gate. The manufacturer probably clipped off the center terminal since it is the same as the tab so thats why you only see 2 leads. Install new device in same orientation so that you don't get the terminal and gate leads interchanged, otherwise the new device won't last very long :D

Bingo, they cutoff the center connector.

No, it's not available anymore. There's about ten parts still available, this isn't one of them.
