hmm... I'd be a little skeptical on this one. The Knipex long nose pliers I have are not very good. They are model 38 15 200 and the tip is way to flexible to be of any use in a high grip situation, it will just flex and bend and not allow you to get a firm grip. The 25 02 160 are much better and have a rigid stiff tip.

with this being a long reach plier if the tip is flexible then it would be useless.

This is great advice. Amazon Germany now has a beta English language version that makes it much easier to shop at the site. Shipping costs are not bad at all, and exchange rates have never been better.

This is just my opinion. I have long reach pliers from Proto, Crescent (the double x whatever), a HF pair somewhere, and at least one other.

If you need serious grip, something this long is not really going to give you that. If you just need longer reach, I don't know that you NEED Knipex to get you there. Don't get me wrong, I have plenty of Knipex and I think they are the best pliers I own. Certainly worth the money. I just don't see this tool being something you need to spend Knipex money or get Knipex quality. 2/3 of the time it won't fit where you want to put it anyway.

this !!!!

:rocker:

I own a bunch of pliers, mostly knipex and wiha but my long reach are cheapos , never had a problem with them, and I got a full set for less than that knipex.

I love knipex don't get me wrong but if you have the wrong expectations you'll be dissapointed , just like the long nose many say are not good ...

the knipex long nose are very good but only for what they're intended, if you want minimal flex go to another DESIGN !, that one will have flex in them no matter what brand or steel or alien technology .
