At Last! 24" Diamond

Was visiting family in Denver, and made a run to Charlie's Secondhand Tools.
Been gathering (hoarding maybe) Diamond stuff for years. Only seen a few 24" adjustable wrenches, and all with fixed jaw cracked and welded.
Took home this nice, Un-welded one, and beautiful early 10" one for $48!

Congratulations on being inducted into the 24" Diamond club. That 24" one is tough to find.

Funny, I was a machinist for 7 years and used a 24" adjustable all the time, but it was a shop owned and beat up crescent. I wanted one of my own, then found Diamond tool bc of here, and I have a bunch of their tools now.

In my experience 24" adjustables are one of the hardest sizes to find in the used market. Usually too beat up and too expensive. Like you, I found a 24" Diamalloy about 3 weeks ago at a swap meet for $40. When I first posted it, someone commented that the 24" commonly have a weld/braze repair, mine isn't cracked but you can tell the wrench was stored on the floor leaning against a wall because chrome is chipped on ends of jaws.

Glad to hear I'm not the only one finding Diamonds in the rough lol
