Rhino Lings Concrete Solutions bad experience (Installer)
I contacted a person someone had referred to me to install a Polyurethane finish. He represented himself as an experienced installer. Gave me a 4K quote for a large one care garage. He first sanded the old paint off of the floor. The floor molding was not removed so you can imagine what it looked like when he finished sanding. I had a suspension something was up at that point. The next day he applied the colored base and said he would be back in the next morning. The next morning the floor was not dry. This went on for three days. Long story short he had to remove the base coat. I ask him if he had ever applied this product before and he said no. He said it would be two weeks before he could return. He did not want to pay for expedited product from California to start over. Before he put down the base coat again he ask if he could use clear and use a heavy application of flake. Heavy enough you would not be able to see the floor through the flake. I refused! He had to make several different applications of the base again because every batch he mixed to put down was a different color of gray. He finely put down a coat of satin clear on a fully screwed up floor and had to make repairs several times again. Day 31 I had to tell him to get out of here I had to move on.
My issue now is I cannot locate a company in the Blairsville, GA area to redo the floor. I do not think I can afford to pay someone to drive out of the Atlanta area for the installation
Does anyone know of a qualified installer in North Georgia area that would cover Blairsville, GA
