The 2 front garage doors will get same hardware to match the house and small garage door.

Looking good. FYI if the cable company or telephone company ties into that grounding lug make sure you disconnect it after final inspection. If the phone/cable is ever hit with lightning it will use your building as a ground and catch it on fire. Its happened to several houses in my area. The electrical inspector, who is a friend of mine even told me to disconnect it. When the cable company installed the cable in my shop they didnt use a ground rod that was 8' at the pedastal and i had voltage on the cable wire. It was arching at the grounding lug. Luckily it didnt cause a fire and i had it fixed right away.

technically I think they aren't even allowed to do that but they do anyway...all the time LOL.
they should be installing their own grounding separate from the electric.

Thank you for the heads up. I will be sure to keep an eye on that! [emoji106]

I am very happy with how everything turned out! We still need to grade the land around the building, but everything is done inside. [emoji2]

This is what I'm hoping the inside of mine will look like in a few months.

The white paneling and bright lights are amazing. I messed around with my truck today and felt like I was in an operating room working on it. Haha.

From an Australian point of view...I can't understand the posts in the ground arrangement. We build from the ground up....Lay the slab (termite proof) then build the frame on top.
Your method seems to have a short life. When the timber rots away in the ground the shed is condemned, or needs some serious restoration. I've only seen your process done here using steel posts set in concrete and the slab poured around them.

Did you look into jackshaft garage door openers? How many light fixtures did you go with?

Also how much do you have invested in the building?

We did look at side-mounted options but decided on the ones we have. If I were to do it again I might consider a roll-up door option.

We have 9 fixtures for lights. Each fixture has four 4' T5 lamps.

PM sent.

Finished this project tonight and got it setup. Repurposed an old shelf from my dad's old warehouse. I took a picture of the leftover pieces we didn't use for the color comparison.
I don't know who order green and burnt orange as a color combo before. Lol! [emoji12]

I think they came like that and only like that. We have those where I work as well, so my guess is they are a safety thing for forklifts with the bright orange.

Makes sense. This shelf wasn't bright enough I guess b/c it had a forklift hit on the side. Lol.
They stored tire changers and balancers on it.

So my first welding project was to build a welding table. I practiced on scrap pieces from the farm to learn MIG with C25.
I unfortunately didn't take step by step photos, but here is what I have! I also bought a Wilton 4500 for it. :)

Thank you! [emoji2]

I'm close to your age as well. 26 here. Haha.

I work with computer software for a healthcare company.
