Two Milwaukee Impact Wrench 2763-22 Kits (Same Kit Part #'s, But Different Batteries)

I'm in a urgent need for the Cordless Impact Wrench and am keen on joining the Milwaukee bandwagon.

I missed out on the recent $285 deal which included the wrench, case, charger, and two XC 5.0A batteries. Quite the deal, and I can't find anything close. The longer I wait, the longer I'm without a car.

I'm finding a discrepancy with Kit Model # 2763-22; some retailers are including the older 4.0A batteries, whereas some are including the newer and larger XC 5.0A batteries.

Why aren't these kits (older vs newer) having their own distinct part numbers?

Also, how long do you all think, we'll get something close to that lower price range again?

That is a good deal I just got the 1/2 and 3/8 impact with flashlight kit for double that from Cornwell man since I did not have money sitting around

But that is a killer deal on those and the batteries that came with mine were xc5.0 you will most likely be getting the 5.0 batteries but call Milwaukee they might swap them out for you too not sure though

I'm seriously convinced you don't need a cordless impact wrench. Or a car for that matter... Is this to finish the front end job you started a few weeks ago?? I feel like you will buy it, barely use it and then complain about the batteries not charging right or something in a few months. Use the money to pay a mechanic to fix it and get your car back on the road. I mean this in the most sincere way.

Not really sure I got the 3/8 and 1/2 impact kit since I use these the most thinking of adding drill and sawzall eventually to keep around the house for light carpentry work

And deals come and go you will have to look up thru Google or sometimes thru eBay but keep in mind by from reputable seller to retain warranty down the line wherever you purchase thru

I didn't have anything but a weak *** worn out ancient IR clone that wasn't good for anything but running bolts in or out until I went pro and somehow I still managed to get everything done I needed to do, no matter what it was.

It's partially needed for the front end job, I also wanted to use it for removing corroded exhaust fasteners (for a future date), and replacing trans mounts

I'd rather have everything handy in advance. I probably don't need something this powerful, but the sale prices make this tool attractive (for what you get). It's a bit of both, a want and need.

What I really need from the M18 Fuel system is the drill and impact driver, especially for a kitchen remodel, basement ceiling, and flooring which I'll work on as soon as I'm done with the car

I actually was under the impression going cordless work make any future DIY project feasible

I'm 29. I didn't have a pneumatic impact until about 5 years ago and bought my first cordless about 6 months ago. Growing up I put lift kits on trucks, clutches, brake jobs, exhaust's, general maintenance, bumpers, rear ends, took quads and dirt bikes apart, rebuilt my first Harley etc, etc ALL WITH 90% CRAFTSMAN AND 10% SK HAND TOOLS. No specialty tools either. I did everything the hard way. No ratchet wrenches or 80 tooth ratchets. My father would only let me use his Snap On stuff if he was there because he knew I would loose and abuse them because I was only in my teens. (Can't tell you how many screwdrivers and stuff I left outside or lost in my younger days) And even that SO stuff was rudimentary compared to today's stuff. If you really want or need something, you will get the job done any way possible. Especially when you're young. Yesterday you were considering waiting until black Friday to buy your cordless tools, which would mean your car wouldn't be fixed until then either. What's the real story here? I'm assuming you are a younger gentleman, still home with parents, possibly in school, driving your parents car, with a basic job, but no real bills. Which is fine, if you're young and is the reason why you don't need the car fixed and would rather spend money on tools. I hope I'm right on this, for your sake and mine..

I'm not trying to be mean in any way, but it's obvious your questions confuse the heck out of everyone on here. Most of us have good intentions and try to help as much as possible, but there are too many unknowns and back and forth, mismatching threads.

Not that this will do any good, but if you need the drill and impact driver, buy the kit. Then buy the bare tool impact. It would probably only cost a little more.

Thanks for the advice, I do feel the amount of frustration faced when initially working with the car's suspension had me thinking how it could have been potentially easier to get the work done had I had the power and air tools from the beginning. The saying goes, nothing comes easy. It'll take a little longer with hands, but It will still get the job done and I'll probably be more satisfied after exerting physical effort. Deals come and go, but I shouldn't allow that to detract the focus on the current work at hand. It'll be one thing at a time and patience for me then. I'll consider a future kit purchase as an upgrade, but will only proceed to purchase once it is really needed at hand.

This is a bit overkill for a novice diy for the money spent look into decent hand tools and start there before any power tools especially an 1/2 impact which can be dangerous in hands of novice

And suspension should be easier than other parts on cars to change google images can help you a lot for an idea on how to or even you tube

Thanks lightning02, that is one heck of a deal, very enticing. Instead of two additional batteries, I'd be getting a cordless reciprocating saw. Makes me wonder if I'll really need the reciprocating saw. I have a corded Bosch reciprocating saw, purchased from Lowes for $50 during a clearance event. The one in the deal you posted includes the latest model, is brushless, and is part of the M18 system. Wish they would include the hard-plastic case rather than a carrying bag. For this price though, really can't complain. It outshines the Home Depot deal. Do people buy corded used tools on Garage Journal / eBay? I have a Bosch RS7 I'd probably sell "if" I go for these deals.

i haven't really looked into deeply but you can easily find a 2pack from $150-199 depending where you look and deals going on at that time.

About a 200 ft/lb impact is all it will take to snap most NY exhaust fasteners.
