I wish the pics were bigger. it looks nice!
So, built from parts no doubt. what did you use, piece parts from a craftsman unit and a base from something else?

Nice job. Indeed they aren't brain surgery and the offerings(especially knife making models) certainly aren't $2000 + worth.

This looks like something a man builds for the shear joy of building, hours be damned.
Very nice Vernon.
Thank you for posting

That is a great project. Did you have a special purpose that you made it for or just for the challenge?

Some serious design and fabrication skills there. How did you come up with the design?

What skills and background did you have that made you think you think you could do it?

I built automatic food machine and Roller coaster. I was pretty much born around a Machine shop. (Dads) I just started drawing a design one day and ran from there. Never drawled a printed kind of built on the fly.

How many iteration in design has the machine been through?

Most of it was built without to many set backs But the 3 things I started over on or redone was the Sheet Metal guard for the 6 x 48 belt, The arm that allows the 6 x 48 table to tilt, And the last one was the motor mount slide. Saying all that there would be even a few more changes if I did it all over. But hey there never a perfect piece :)
