I found one at one store for the 225 price. Another store was full price and another store was at the 496 price they said they had 4 of them, but I couldn't find them in any overhead.

Got confirmation from my local store that the Ridgid miter saw was clearanced after all. Other stores still have normal pricing in place and quantities available.

Read the note from Ryan and see that there are no restrictions regarding posting information about penny deals as previously alluded to by another member. As such, I just want to say that penny deals are still alive and available if you are willing to look. Went to three stores this AM and found penny deals at two of the three - and I didn't have to look hard. Found four (4) CE Tech 3-In-1 Charging Cables at two of the stores, a Kwickset Double Cylinder Deadbolt - clearly marked a penny in a shopping cart in the tool area, and finally a Bosch GLC-25-S Five-Point Self-Leveling Alignment Laser with Cross-Line - which was sitting on the clearance end-cap with a clearly displayed penny label on it (not sure how long it was sitting there; however, it was gone in a flash once I saw it). The laser was reportedly listed for $399 at HD (not sure how true that price was - but I can say that it is currently sold on Amazon for $279). Again, got all of the items through the SCO without incident - no bells, whistles, HD Storm Troopers, etc. Not sure how long the penny deals will last, but I will continue to look for and try to purchase same as long as they are available.

I bought a few of those hoses last year when they hit the .03 level and it was the worse I've ever used sprung a leak within a week. I ended up giving he rest away.

Yeah saw this deal at the Gilbert , AZ Home Depot , all they had was the display , thought I could find one in a box . no deal , went back the next day and it was gone , bummed

They will probably stick them back on the shelf as new.
The lift drivers from Home Depot are terrible.
I guarantee they are not reporting those incedents to OSHA.

FYI, picked up a few items at a penny that rang up just fine. Penny's are still alive and well. Don't be scared...

Grabbed a compressor Friday that I feared was going to meet a similar fate. It was shrink wrapped to a pallet, next to a tool box and next to the post for the rack, so no way to rotate it out. Then when he went in I think it pushed it under the toolbox pallet so finally he just forced it up and basically destroyed the compressor pallet, I didn't think it was going to make it down but he got it. That was the hairiest one I've ever seen, most have gone with out incident.

Seemed like those penny deals were all bogus in this area. The store employees that I had talked to, said that they didn't exist. Better off with a thread describing deals that you could actually receive.

Hi, I am new here, but I have been "lurking" for a little while. I havent been able to find any good deals lately. The HD's around me seem to be pretty dried up. I was able to find 6 of the IDevices switches for a penny each about a month ago. Im not really a penny finder though. I care more about .03 prices, but I havent found much at all lately. :eek:
