Made a press brake and it works!

After scrounging through the odds and ends bin at work, burning up my old DeWalt grinder (lesson learned, when cutting 28" of 5/8" plate steel let the grinder cool off) and an "off" day of welding (for the life of me I couldn't lay a decent looking, straight bead this weekend) I was very pleased that it came out as functional as it did. It bends 1/8" or 22 gauge with no problem and the corners look nice and crisp. Now I just need to get a pair of old valve springs from the shop at work and it will be ready to go.

ive been eyeing the swag off road one and love the finger style so you can do lots of different things. very good idea for consevering space.

Simple piece of 3/16 angle iron. On the "male" portion, I cleaned up the edge with the grinder as well as trimmed off the excess and the "female" I squared up the bottom of the inner channel so the two fit tightly with no gaps.

I'm pretty sure you can buy (new / cutoff / drop) press brake parts pretty cheap off of e-bay.
I was going to build one similar, but haven't gotten to it yet.
