Good Nitrile gloves last me all day, but I go through as many as a dozen shop towels a day. I always carry two, one in each pocket and always at least one of them is clean. Gloves wipe fairly clean, and to further protect the car use a clean shop towel between you and car.

Depending on the job I sometimes wear a playtex dishwashing style glove, looser fit, insulation, and they last maybe a month.

Just saw that we pay $11.00 for 100 Nitrile Gloves. That's 22Centd a pair....gonna have to remember that next time the kids want to play doctor dress-up in the shop!!

I was just at Costco and got 1 package of 2 boxes (150 gloves per box) of their store brand (Kirkland) nitrile gloves for $14.99 total.

For those that can't do math, that's 10 cents per pair.
