Frankly, the prices look like close to normal prices on amazon. The price on the master tech bit set #75965 isn't that good at all. I picked it up for a bit under $60 right before Christmas. That being said, it is a really awesome set and well worth the money.

The only ones that MIGHT be good prices are the insulated pliers. I haven't kept an eye on their prices but the needle nose pliers at $15 seems like a pretty good deal (though I think someone said their Wiha pliers were made at Wiha's factory in Vietnam).

The prices look to actually be the same price as KC Tool on the two sets I checked. Dang, I was hoping to pull the trigger since I can't ignore a screaming deal.

I would guess that the 328 series is still made in Switzerland, but it's probably 2x as expensive.

It's kind of weird that the labor content on pliers would account for that. You'd think that it would be a mostly automated line by now.

I knew they had moved some production to Vietnam, but India? Their metal tools tend to be atrocious. WTH, Wiha?

labor and overhead, which I'm sure is drastically less in a third-world manufacturing environment.

I made the mistake of picking up their 'contractor grade' SAE wrench set, made in India, based on the fact Wiha was selling it. Worst tool purchase I ever made, HF wrenches are far, far better.
