Yeah, the hoses were Goodyear.
I've got some of those stainless cans, and one of those sprayers. They were pretty good.

I miss a specific magnet they sold that was very powerful and had a ring on it.
I miss when I could get the 4" magnetic trays for a buck.

I know there are a bunch of other things. I'll have to think about it.

I think for a while they bought state side close outs and that's where the USA tools came from. Most of the name brand electric power tools were sold as factory reconditioned, but the prices were in line with that.

i cant remember the item number
for the huge Pittsburgh sae/metric socket set case they sold 15 years ago.
weighed about 50 lbs and had nearly every 6 point and 12 point socket you need
in 1/4 - 3/8 and 1/2 " configurations
and included all the ratchets and extensions .

usually was on sale for 89 or 99 bucks
all black heavy duty plastic carrying case .

This was before my time (at least I don't remember), but honestly I'm trying to think of any item, they no longer sell and I have been a customer for about 25 years, accidentally discovering a store in So CA.

The catalog at the front of the store used to seem to allow for ordering alternate tool box colors; yellow and black as I recall. They've gotten away from this.

I'm pretty sure that dam near every machinist either owns or has used one of these angle plates, Grizz sells them for $120 now, HF used to carry them for ~$20. They also used to sell pretty decent knockoffs of Hardinge indexers, Kurt vises, and Super Spacers. I've still got one of their angle plates and an indexer but wouldnt mind an opportunity for more cheap fixtures.

JMO but I not only miss when they sold some professional quality tools as mentioned but also the pricing and selection they previously had on the cheaper imported tools. The angle plate is just one example, but they used to carry a real variety of stuff in-store you had to order otherwise, and sold it ridiculously cheap.

I miss the Goodyear hoses too. They stopped selling them right before they opened the store about 10 minutes from the house about a year and a half-two years ago. I bought the one I have now from the one that is on the other side of town. I think I saw on here when they were discontinuing them but just couldn't get motivated to make the journey to pick up another two or three.

About all I buy there now are latex gloves and Super Lube.

They used to sell some nice adjustable wrenches that had a composite handle...I still have a couple, bought probably 20+ years ago. They are the nicest adjustable wrenches I've used. Made in Taiwan. Identical to these but said "Pittsburg"

1/4" drive Impact Torx Sockets. The length was perfect 99% of the time it was a medium height that I have not been able to find. They were also narrower in wall thickness then most of the 1/4" impact stuff out there.

The old Blue #95136 Plasma Cutter for $600 with the REAL Trafimet torch head. I've had mine for almost 10yrs ands it weekly. I LOVE IT SO MUCH I bought a used spare from eBay and loaned it to my retired neighbor. It cuts 1/4" steel all the time for me, but I did an UGLY sever on some 3/4" one time.

When/If it dies I'll buy a HyperTherm but this one has real guts.

About 6 months ago I bought a 24" crescent wrench(usa), and a reed sw24a72 strap wrench for $20 from a guy on craigslist. I asked him where he got them years ago and he swore up and down he got them both from harbor freight, so I would like them to sell those. I'm pretty sure the guy was off his rocker though lol...
