The largest size in their 3-pc pry bar set is 25", but they sell this 36" pry bar separately. The new version has a strike cap, and surprisingly is still made in USA.

Craftsman 36 IN. PRY BAR WITH STRIKE CAP $11.99
, regular $31.99

Thanks - I had some surprise points to use also!! The nearby sears closed about a year ago, so I had to have it shipped. It was still under $10 including shipping after using the points.

When it's something already that cheap, I choose to save my surprise points for the more expensive items. Am I the only one who thinks this way?

I would agree with your point strategy if I felt more confident with Sears long-term viability

Ordered one for local pickup. Stores calls and say they don't have one in stock so they'll get one shipped to me for free. Can't complain about that.

I'd order one but I already have the older style with no striking cap.

FYI cheapest ever price; order now! Most of us paid $15-19 for the older style.

Not trying to mess with you but that seems like saying I'd rather save $x.** later than right now. Or am I missing something about why you wait till later?

Thanks OP, picked up one for myself and got $4 in bonus points to use so it came out to $8.79. Even picked another up for a friend!

I already have two of the non striking cap 36" bars, hardly paid anything for them too. Do I really need this one? Why of course I do. Order placed. :D

If a tool is already marked down 50% I'd rather pay that amount and use the points on a more expensive item not marked down to help justify buying it. That way it's like getting two items on clearance.

On another note, I received an email a little while ago that said my store did not have them in stock. They offered to ship it for free or pick up elsewhere, but I'd rather have it shipped. When the link to have it shipped didn't work, I went to sears.com and used the chat feature. In about 4 minutes a computer/robot, I'm assuming, had the order changed to be shipped to my house, yet it takes 45 minutes for a human in store to do a price check on a screwdriver. I've always had good luck at Sears, but think it's pretty funny some of the stories I see on here.
