Here's my nut buster for big jobs. And it has come in handy.
I got it at the best used tool store in L.A. back in the 1990's. Andy Anderson's used tools in Santa Monica. Paid $25 for it as I recall. That's a Craftsman 1/4 inch ratchet next to it for comparison.

I do believe I have a relative to snapmom, im just missing the handle. I figured I could whip something up or a selection of somethings but I never thought the oe handle would have been much bigger than say 36"

I will have to pick up enough stock to make one at least that long now along with a few other legnths.

Snap-on changed the design on the newer 3/4" drive tools by increasing the diameter of the handles.

I got into this late. This is my New Britain / Mac Z4R ratchet from 1973. It is only 25" long and out of contention.

That ratchet may not be as long as the other ones listed, but it is a really nice ratchet. The relatively high tooth count (44?) combined with a smooth low drag action and small head diameter make it my favorite 3/4" ratchet.

Every summer I have to remove the cutters on my bush hog to sharpen them, and I was doing it with my Proto 5649 3/4 ratchet and a cheater bar. It takes a 1&7/16ths long reach socket. But every time I do that I cringe a little worrying for my ratchet--it's really not a breaker bar. So I got this last week from Harry Epstein.
