Nice stuff there, gbh.
May I ask where in Asia you reside in?

Wise makes some unique hex keys that no one else in the world offers.

Here's a picture of mine that I dug out

Does anyone here know where I can get these in the US?

Was looking at upgrading my torque wrench - was thinking of the TOHNICH QL200N4 - the only problem is its a clicker - is there an electronic type anyone would recommend.

CEM3-G%20Spec.jpg

Look what I got Today!

Ko-Ken 3774NB & 3300c-250

Indeed it does look like the ratchet's faceplate is peened, hmmmm. This is by far the smoothest ratchet I've handled. backdrag is nearly non existent and I really dont think the 24t mechanism will limit me very much. Looking forward to putting it to good use!

That sure is peened. Odd that the two ratchets I have are not peened. :dunno:
If you're impressed by the backdrag on the standard Ko-ken ratchet, you'll be shocked when you handle a Zeal ratchet. :D

AFAIK, no distributors in North America. Rice Rocket mentioned Global Rakuten, but the selection of Wise products is limited, both from Mutsuura and i-Tools stores. The exact item is not available.

I bought the Vampliers a while back and have been happy with them. I use them for special situations. Is the Neji-Saurus made by the same company?

For around $8 equivalent on sale I couldn't say no. They're small but I like KTC quality.

I never, I mean NEVER, use adjustable wrenches, but I want one of these badly! Don't even know what I'd do with it. Put it in a shadow box, likely. Garage jewelry!
It is a tool to expose in showcase. :D
Make it work is sin.

Never use 'em either!

Well... except when you find some square drain plug you need to remove, or a machine vice with no handle, or some plumbing fitting....

So, they're useful to have around, and those Nepros have got to be the best out there!

Those sound like valid justifications, Dave. But I can't remember when I had to yank a square drain plug. Probably before my grandfather traded in his '37ish Ford tractor for an '83 ish....

Doesn't really matter, anyway. I WANT it. LOL

You can do the work of 20 of those other...

We used to have independent dealers selling Koken tools in the UK but haven't seen any for years apart from my own 3/8 Koken ratchet, bought second hand.
I do have a very old ETC Japan socket set and can't fault it.

Went to Tokyo last week. Brought a few nice goods with me from World Import tools in Itabashi.
The Factory Gear store is closed till November for renovation :shocking:

WIT is a small but nicely sorted place with helpful personell, they were very happy to see somebody from Europe come and visit them.

I have to say im impressed with the ratchets in terms of smoothness and backdrag but they are really heavy.

The 20 years edition one is from nepros.net but its not very useful as I think the handle is too short.

The screwdrivers and the pliers plus the tray are from Enchos Jumbo DIY and the Snap on spanner is off the little truck

Thank you,

I agree Nepros are top notch albeit a bit expensive for professional DIY[emoji16] .

Enjoy using your beautiful tools[emoji106]

garfieldzzz,

Nice assortment of tools!

How do you like the Woody screwdrivers?

Also, what was the occassion for going to Fuji Speedway?
:bounce: thank you
The Woodys are nothing fancy but feel nice, a little bit like the PB swisscraft ones but harder. As well they fit proper on JIS screws like on Bike derailleurs very well, wich was my reason to buy them... and I like the idea wirh the wood resin.

I work for a race team attending the WEC so we went there for racing

Those are nice spanners Mercucho, you'll enjoy using them.

Here's a saw I bought today. 0.3 millimeter thick and super sharp, even I can cut a straight line with one of these.

I also have the woody but I prefer the Megadora 900 with the bluw handle and Jaws fit.

The Woody ones I've got they have some kind of paint, probably for corrosion protection, which peeled off the tip first time I used it.

They fit both Philips and JIS very well though.

I am now ordering some PBSwiss Philips to see how they compare to Vessel with regards to the fitment on Philips screws.

got the P-220 pliers last year and haven't yet found a quick link that can resist them, even the couple of saltwaterously-rusted ones(bmx pier jumpers) where i should have cut the chains and tossed 'em..P-220
ok, i don't work on motorbikes with bigger links, only bicycles but the ease of use should be the same. and the grips are really *that* good! :D

2013-06-04-1017.jpg

a big  for Hozan and Tsunoda! :rocker:

cosmik binturong was there any duty or import charges or just the standard shipping charges? I too have the P-220 chainn pliers and love them but having the ability to use the sides would be a great bonus. Thanks

I posted a few pages back that these were coming, Hozan P-221 chain master link pliers. I used a buy it now on eBay from seller hobby_japan for $20 plus $8 international shipping. Expensive for pliers, especially low-use pliers, but as someone who has stabbed himself in the hand with a flat head screwdriver trying to pry apart the master link on my motorcycle chain, I felt that $28 pliers would be cheaper than another ER visit. Plus, there is nothing like this that I could find available in the US. I knew it would be a bit of a gamble.

The packaging is very cheap but still more sturdy than say the plastic cards that fit over some Channellocks brand new. That being said, the pliers are BEAUTIFUL. There are some sharp-ish edges, but I am used to it. The grips, however, are phenomenal. Just the right amount of give. They are springloaded, and the tips are magnetized to hold the master link c-clip.

Hopefully this weekend I will report back how it works. I am sitting here with new sprockets, chain, tubes, tires, and a choke cable for my KLR. Time to do some work!

It did take a while to get them...I ordered 5-14-14 and received them this past Monday, 6-2-14.

davethorik when you bought your Hozan P-221 chain pliers did you have to pay any duties or import fees? Did you just pay for the pliers and shipping from the ebay seller. I have the P-220 pliers and love them but would like the P-221's. Thanks
