Newbie from Michigan

Hey guys and gals, just registered as I am finally getting my garage finished and wanted to be able to get some tips from the forum and share my results when it's done. I will start a build thread with progress pictures as I go. I've already dug up some helpful info from all of you, so thanks!

Bansaw: would love to see your build thread. just a warning it might seem like you are talking to your self for a while, but keep posting pictures with good comments and questions and you might get a lot of members posts on it. also if you participate in other areas of GJ and post on other member's threads it will help us get to know you and you will get to know some of us.

good luck with the garage and just a warning your wallet will never have much cash in it while you are filling up your garage with all the tool finds so enjoy the ride learning about tools and how to use them if you don't already have all you need.

Haha ok I'll keep that in mind. Hoping to get some of my start pics up soon. Do you know if there is there an unwritten preference among the moderators as far as whether I attach links to the pictures or post the actual image in my replies?

Bansaw: i heard and think Imgur doesn't like GJ's forum cause it has a classified section, but other than that I think you can post pictures from an online site. I only attach pictures using the paperclip method that is located just above where we are writing our posts and works sort of like attaching pics to an email. GJ i think has a section in our profiles where we can download pics into a album hosted by GJ, but i've never used it so can't tell you much more about it.

good luck and maybe as a test post a picture on your next post on this thread to see how you do. or there is a test section to learn to post pics that i again am not sure where that is.
