Nothing special, your typical Big Box Store quality--good for the car toolbox.

A couple of years ago HD was closing out HDX versions of the same ****. I think I paid $1 a piece for the needle nose and the 7" HDX locking pliers, and I cleaned them out. I've now got a drawer full of them, and they come in handy as welding clamps, or as things I've welded to jigs. They're not top shelf pliers, but that isn't always something you need.

Oddly enough, I put the Petersons in the car toolbox. If the only tool I've got that can do the job is one of those, I'll want to be sure its a good one...

I have a set, the middle size gets used the most. They're not great. Hard to unlock when clamped down hard. it also has a tendency to lock in a slight offset. For $10 they're great for light usage
