I was over at Sears today and they had a 30% off sale on their wrench sets.
The five piece offset polished wrench set was normally $50.00, on sale for $30.00. That's the first time I have seen that set on sale for that price.
Anybody in the market for wrenches, check out the sale. I believe it goes on through October 10.

Fixed it for you :bounce:

That is an excellent deal - I have both sets, though!

I was in Sears today and didn't even notice a sale on the wrenches. After looking at the toolbox thread, I was looking at them, not like I need a new one right now.

I did buy a new cell phone case though.

Honda_1 or Mr. Nutcase,

Is there an online ad or web page on Sears.com showing 30% on Craftsman wrenches? Are all Craftsman wrenches on sale or certain ones? How is the sale advertised at the Sears mall stores? Do the sales associates just place sale price tags next to the discounted Craftsman wrenches?

Thanks,

Dave

In the sears I work at theres a lager sign in the wrench section that says "30
% off all wrench sets"

I just work in the automotive section though so I don't know much about it other than the sign.

I imagine the new china made stuff is in a container on the dock in Long Beach. Just trying to clear out the USA made stuff before it arrives.

I was looking at a few wrench sets online that didn't have the 30 percent off but everything in the store did.

At the Willoughby Hills, Ohio Sears Hardware store, I purchased yesterday afternoon the 7 piece, Craftsman Universal (spline) metric combination wrench set for $11.99 and the 2 piece, Craftsman 6" ratcheting bar clamp set (Sears Hardware exclusive, model# 3447458 refers to a single clamp) for $14.99. The deal on the clamps expires on Saturday, October 17. Neither the manager or the employees took down the sale signs from last weekend's big sale. The manager honored the price for the spline combination wrench set. After I left the store early in the afternoon and came back in the early evening (to look at another tool), all the sale signs from last weekend's sale were taken down.

Picked up the professional stubby set. I wanted the flare nut combo that carder got but knew my wife would kill me. Funny thing was that on thursday night all the sale tags were up and when I came back to the store on Friday they were all gone. Sale prices in effect but you would never know it looking at the shelf. What is sears trying to do not promoting this deal? I told a couple guys that were shopping and they had no idea that the sets were on sale.

EDIT: WIfe just gave me the green light to get them. I love you honey!
