does anyone have any specs on skil saw armatures? I need an armature for a crain undercut saw that uses skil motor, parts are not available thru the manufacturer, only the complete motor head. I started a link here. http://www.garagejournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=341944
any help greatly appreciated

Try these guys out. Awesomeeee website. They have parts schematics too.
Also carry parts for tons of other stuff besides hand tools.

You might try contacting SKIL directly. They might be able to tell you which other motors used the same armature.

I've looked at the ereplacements part site but they don't give dimensions. Skil will not help as it's captive to crain tools. crain wants to sell the entire motor .
I know it's a skil part, I just need to fond out what model of saw uses that armature and I can get an armature .
thanks guys

Any part number on motor? Or whats replacement part number? Though crain probably has their own in house part number.

that's the problem, I know it's skil, but no numbers on it. crain only sells the complete motor, so it makes no financial sense as a new saw is the same price.
skil wont help because they have a deal with crain .
I need to find a used cheap saw that I can compare .
