Being a complete tool addict, I have a special place for oversize tools that I rarely have the opportunity to use. The largest socket I have is the 2 3/8 Craftsman 3/4" drive. The 1 1/8" is there for scale. When the local Sears store closed I bought the 1 7/16 box wrench and is the largest one I have. I also have a Martin and Craftsman open end wrench that is 1 5/16.

I would like to see the largest sockets and wrenches others have. I am close to buying the 60" pipe wrench from Northern Tool.

I need to figure out a way to display them in my garage.

Hmm, largest wrench in my toolbox is a 2 5/8" pump wrench. Largest combination wrench is a 2" proto. Largest socket is a 2 1/2" impact or a 4 1/8" wheelbearing socket. I'll try and remember to take pics on Monday.

There are bigger tools that belong to the shop, but the above are the ones I own.

I keep all my really big wrenches on the wall hanging from some pegboard. They rarely if ever get used but as was mentioned above are kind of like garage art.

I think this socket is like 3-1/4, a older snap on, I use it as a workbench screwdriver holder

Like you, the largest socket I have currently is 2-3/8", 3/4" drive. This is a complete set of Proto, from 7/8" to 2-3/8".

The largest combination wrench I have currently is 2", I think it's a Williams.

I got this for my Birthday this summer.

3-3/8 Williams
What I don't understand after all these years, and having USED some big wrenches like that, is why they make a 3-3/8" wrench with only a 24" handle. We used to have to hook the box of another wrench over the open end of the first one to get enough leverage to use them sometimes.

60" pipe wrench--what are you workin' on :headscrat

My thoughts exactly.

Largest wrench I have and have ever needed was a 1-5/8 inch. I have a 15 inch adjustable wrench that used to get used on occasion, now rarely, only if I need to tighten my tow hitch.

Some people who work on large heavy equipment have use for such large tools. Not me. In fact I keep and have only the tools that were ever useful to me. In fact now about 1/3rd of all the tools I own I rarely use much at all. But I just know that the day I sell something, no more than three weeks passes and I find myself in a situation where I need it. Murphy's law:headscrat

That is a monster. Are you saying it is 1/2 Drive? That must be some impact wrench. I would have guessed a 1 inch drive...

I have a pair of 24" adjustables and a Ridgid "Super-Six" compound pipe wrench with (you guessed it) a 6" jaw opening. The handle is over 4' long. I"ll try to snap a picture next week.
