Do the stickies need to show up on every page? By the time anyone has paged back a few times they have just become a space-blocker. I can't think of any other forum I frequent that shows them on every page, especially when there are so many.

Complaining about the way a forum is set up the day you join up probably isn't going to get you very far.

If you're that upset about it, you might want to contact Ryan, site owner and Admin.

Thanks. It's only an issue when I'm killing time browsing through older posts, so that wouldn't really apply. But yes, any kind of search will omit them as long as they are not recent.

?? Been lurking here on and off for years. FWIW this particular forum is for questions and suggestions pertaining to the forum itself. If the admin wants to read it, he's free to. I'm not going to bother him specifically with something minor.

Upset, really?

If you have been visiting the forum for such a long time then you should know it is easy to skip past them. Mark forums read may help you that way when you have been through everything marking them as read makes it easier when you come back later to read any new posts.
