I hope you share what she comes up with. Are there constraints on home colors and such in your area, too?

I checked the site for your neighborhood and it was an interesting read.

There are stern suggestions on color palettes Haha. When you buy a house, it comes with a owners guide that was written by the original architect. Ill post some shots of that. long story short, earth tones, bright colors on doors only. To give you an idea, the house was orignally white with black accents. thats it.

Got a few things done this evening. Put up this peg board section the get the ladders and miter box off the floor. Not sure how I fell about it quite yet..
Also swiped this cool little drawer thing from the shop that I found while cleaning out our warehouse, started organizing some things into it


And for those that are interested in the house, Here is a copy of a magazine the house was in back in '54. Out neighborhood was a kind of "Neighborhood of the future" experiment, so there are a few different things going on. The row of four houses that we are in were a study in making a small house feel big. You can zoom on the pictures if you care to learn more about it. Its really fascinating.

Nice article! I've been trying to track down similar stuff for my neighborhood. A few of the older neighbors have told me that they have the original sales brochures and other things but they've never been able to find them.

The garage, house and cars look awesome. Volvo guy here chiming in.

I have the same kind of garage door too. I tried hanging tires from the ceiling once before and the damn door got in the way of closing it. Stupid thing.
I have also had the spring get in the way of other things

One thing you could do, is just continue that 1x1 spaced pattern, but inset it into the cavity. Gives the spring space, and from the road, it doesn't look unfinished. You could even just cut the thickness down a bit more and make them thinner too.

Haven't had a chance to work on the garage much, holidays, got very sick, and had a huge pile of car parts show up after a year of waiting. But I did manage to dismantle and paint the tool box and cabinet bank. Starting to look good! Now I need to paint the over head cabinets and get a stainless top made for the work bench!
Also decided to stain the table top for some reason....
There were also some requests for photos of the house. Its hard to take a picture of a house without a real camera, so this is as good as I could get for now

Three currently! One is our shop project which has a s60r 5 cylinder linked to a m3 trans and for 9" rear!

WOW! I must say I'm a big fan of your choices. The house is beautiful, the wagons are similar to some of my dreamed up vehicles and I'm pretty partial to the Ranger as well. Definitely subscribing and looking forward to updates.

They are from Kahplenke, but they are produced by JRZ from belgium.http://www.kaplhenke.com/collections/240/products/240-jrz-rsone-coilovers
The reason they took so long was because I pre ordered them before they went into production. They are in stock now. These ones are entire new tubes that are pressed and welded into the factory spindle, and don't use a insert. Kahplenke's cheaper coilovers, the ones that use the stock tubes and a insert shock are always in stock and ready to ship.

Thats funny, the new owner drives it quite a bit. It gets spotted alot.

I haven't popped into this thread in a bit and now I see you've got p1800s, as well! I love the looks of those things. There are two in my neighborhood (probably the same owner) but man-oh-man, are they good looking cars.
