Dicky John tap real company or what?

I found this old pipe tap marked Dicky John mixed in with a bunch of end mills and other machinist cutting tools and am wondering if anyone thinks it's a brand name produced tap or if you think someone was just having some fun. It's hard to read but the end with layout dye is also marked 3/4 npt.

There's a company called Dickey-john that makes ag electronics and grain testing equipment.
Wonder if it was labeled (albeit incorrectly) for them?

That's what I was wondering I found there website but didn't dig further then that.
