Kingston-Conley made it, but it will be badged as a Stanley, Atlas, Thor, or even a Walker Turner. Looks to me like a Walker-Turner 1/2hp 7-inch model

I wish I could help - I am guessing Atlas but that is a guess. I will say this: it appears to have both guards, shields, a >possibly new, cord, the disk facing tool, and the stand and tool rests look BEEFY. I LOVE the stand. The cooling well looks like it had water in it it's whole life LOL, but other than that - I bet it would look spectacular cleaned up and repainted. Obviously USA. Do you care what brand it is?

I was looking for a name I could search for value... don't want to get taken to the cleaners.

I agree it is an awesome chunk of vintage manliness!

Lahti: you have my vote to buy it if it runs ok. the on off switch doesn't look factory, but i do like the rest of it and EX puts up some good ideas on the maker. i'd say it's a Baldor or a DOERR which is the Dor in Baldor.

good luck and get the stand cause it looks cool too.

It's not an Atlas. Mine has some red in the label.

Great factoid. I love that stuff. Where does the "Bal" part come from?
