Anyone know the flat rate repair price on this bad boy. Just bought it used on craigslist for a crisp $100 bill. Tried it out on the guys craftsman 5 gallon air compressor and it had plenty of power forward and reverse. Just curious of worse case scenario in case it gives out anytime soon or if it reveals any issues on the shop's air at work. Thanks ahead of time for any information.

I've looked into this before, but never had it done myself, so can't say for certain. The answer I got was about $130 flat rate.

Sounds about right on the price. I was going to say about this much:

Thanks gdoktor! That's about the price that was being thrown around in another thread I had searched prior to posting this one. I just wasn't sure if the price had changed much or if anyone had recently sent one in for a rebuild seeing as it was about a 5 yr. old thread. Lol. The Snap-On guy stops by tomorrow though, so I'll ask him about it then and report back with pricing details in case anyone else is interested. I figured I couldn't go wrong with a $100 bill. Even if it needs rebuilt, about $200 more and from what I here I should have a brand new impact for less than $300.

If you do send it in for a flat rate, make sure it's ef'd up real good. Most people get back what looks like a new one. Mine came back in same cosmetic condition as it went in. I was a little pissed.
