Buy once, cry once, right?

Is that the 28" or 30"? I'm looking at the simplicity p1728e and noticed this at HD. Supposed to be real nice.

Maybe 20-30 years ago. Far more disposable now. Best thing you can do to it is spend 10 minutes at the end of every season wiping it down with a rust preventer.

Rebranded NWS.

Fluid film is what I use. My simplicity gas lasted 20 years by doing a anti rust preventive.

I have been wanting a set of flare nut wrenches. I found a set of New Craftsman SAE+Metric on ebay with a "best offer". I offered $25, and they accepted!

Yeah, they're probably chinese, but they have good reviews.

Good deal. Sears has them in sale for $36.99 each right now b

My local ace hardware is having a ridiculous sale on Stanley tools. Each of these items was only $3, even if they're only consumables the price was too good to pass up

Think im going to return the light and nake my own . With a led strip and my own power source. The snap on is normally open so it cant be made normally closed. For the hutch that is fine .for the locker you want the opposite .
What lights did you get ? mine work just fine

Did you leave any Knipex for anyone else? What is the second pair from left, bottom row?

As PP said, they are for removing hoses. I have never had a pair before but whilst I was clicking on the buy button I thought may as well grab a set and see if they are any good :)

Cheers Andrew

i had the same problem with my locker light, so i rigged the light mech switch to the top of the lip and just leave the light on all the time, but i have the box on the top left side on the inside so that way i can reach the on/off switch and just turn it off at the end of the day

Any chance you could stick your camera in there and get a shot of where they mount? I like the cast, I did like you're thinking and got some led strips and power source, just haven't gotten around to mounting them. And it is dark in my black locker in a not well lit shop.

Pardon the sanding dust. Two racks from princess auto, $5 a piece. Love these guys, and certainly can't make them for that!

A few brass punches. For an ultimately consumable item, I'm happy buying power fist. Couldn't justify tool truck price.

Couldn't pass up the price so I treated myself to these with some of my Christmas bonus. The pry bars are made here in the USA and have hammer caps. For $17 for the set I didn't think I could go wrong.

Are you using them on lockers? They work great on hutches where the magnet sensor is normally ooen, then when making contact with the back of the hutch the circuit closes activating the light.however on the lockers it works oppostie so you need the magnet switch to work normally closed so when the magnet is pulled away it closes the circuit ,turning on the light. Snap on does not have an option for this on their lamp.

It's actually the compact 20.

I need it to fit between my vehicles and go out the side door.

I did find the perfect remedy added led strips , mag switches with normally closed/open optio s so you can wire them your way. If your handy with soldering even better.

Yes i have about 50 bucks into both lockers, etter than 450 from snap on . With 4 strips (2 on top ,2 on the top inner panel of the locker) all out of site when you open and work great. Though it took more strips to get the same lighting as the snap on unit . With a bit of time and work ill be adding more to the back of the lockers as well as my power drawer. The possibilities are endless

To the goods

You can add connector if you dont wsnt to solder . I also used the 3w power supply vs the 2a you can buy with the lights because i may run alot more and utilize one power source.
