LOL, you know some one here definitely spies for Harborfreight. But still, cool to see that this place is good enough to make some one notice.

Well, I don't welcome HF (very much). :lol_hitti

Although, I did buy a $50 HF gift card for my FIL for Christmas this year. He likes to shop there, but he has low standards.

Just like clockwork, he will give me a nice, crisp $50 bill for Christmas. We ought to cut out the middleman.

Since the coupons are expired it's a little more like your doctor telling you you have an STD...right after that stripper tells you how hot/special/great you are.... :lol_hitti

Harbor Freight probably should have made the coupons not ever expire then, or better yet, they should have set it up to give GJ members a 5% (or more!) perpetual discount code that could have been used on all purchases including the ones in the fine print normally excluded by their 20% or 25% off coupons.

I'm sure Harbor Freight wouldn't mind bending over backwards to give an additional break to a bunch of tool snobs that take nearly every chance they have to bash them relentlessly. I'm sure you all would do the same thing for someone who hates you too.

What does this mean? If their stuff is such ****, like everyone says, would a lower price point automatically improve their quality?

Truth be told, HF has changed a lot over the years and actually sells some pretty decent stuff at prices you couldn't touch anywhere else. If you couple that with the fact that nearly everything on the planet is manufactured offshore, the argument for summarily dismissing them as junk dealers gets pretty thin.

Epic fail on the part about everything being made offshore. Many if not most manufactured goods are also made in the USA with better quality and competitively priced. What do you want to buy? Google it you might be surprised.

Restocking my kitchen and USA made cookware is about a hundred times better than Chinese for the same price or 2 or $3 more for most basic items.

Today my Bayside USA beanie came in the mail. So nice and soft with a perfect fit. $4.99. How can that be? Made in California of all places. Propaganda and lies.

I shop at Harbor Freight for disposable shop supplies (Rubber Gloves, Shop Rags, Sandpaper and the like).

I was recently in one of their stores, the Pittsburgh Pro Ratchets were on sale at a really good price. I bought a 3/8" drive for my truck tool box. It seems, in the couple of times I've used it, to be good bang for the buck. I went with HF, based on price, as from time to time, I have to slip seat. If it grows little legs and walks off, I'm not out much.

The one thing that I will purchase from Harbor Freight besides the typical disposables are their Vernier calipers. They really are well built and accurate. I can't see spending the extra money for another set of Mitutoyo Verniers when I can buy these for less than 1/6 of the price.

Good points.
