Nothing spectacular while browsing the local HD today... Managed to find the last Empire torpedo level / triangle combo for $9 that someone placed in the wrong area. Also got the last $3 Ryobi drill bit pack.

They had some Scott's Turfbuilder Max 16.67lb bag marked down to $5.20. I got the $3.80 lesco 50lb bag of weed & feed instead, not like it goes bad so it can just sit in the corner of the garage till spring.

All the Rustoleum Deck & Concrete Restore products were marked down considerably. I wonder how good this product is?

They are also starting to mark down Christmas stuff, or what's left of it... They were already tearing down most of the racks getting ready for the next big holiday / event...

Did they really clear out their display?

I've been to over 7 Home Depots in the area to see their inventory. Some had plenty of stock left whereas others had that seasonal aisle cleaned up a recently as last week.

Their associates have been lazy at work, not making that consciousness effort in aiding assisting their customers. A lot inventory inconsistencies in all of the locations I've been too, doesn't even correspond to its availability as it appears online.

Some of these stores didn't even have each and every item that was disclosed in their BF flyer wasting their customer's time.

I'd wait for post-Holiday sales, that's where the deals should really shine especially with all of those high-priced items (power tools, tool storage, etc) and customer returns.

My local HD has already cleared out the Black Friday/Holiday display and now have a plethora of tool boxes on display.

When I was walking around the store I already noticed some of the stand-alone display things had tags on them that said to wrap & save for 2017 Spring Sale or something similar...

Sometimes they will sell customer returns discounted, but for a lot of the small stuff it goes to a 3rd party that buys it by the truckload (and then often sells them on eBay).

I grabbed about 6 of the Diablo sawzall blades the other day at clearance of .80. They only had the 9" metal cutting which is great for me 'cause I only work w metal but 9" is a bit ridiculous. I figure I can shorten 'em with an abrasive cutoff if I need.

I imagine most stores had these blade $1 displays picked clean long ago though.

First penny finds in a while, on accident too. They were marked clearance, but had no idea how long they had been sitting there. Checker rang them up and didn't even notice, had about 10 items.

Thanks for posting. That's good sandpaper (but expensive at full price) - I was just using it today. I'll check my store to see if it is on clearance.

At my store they were on an endcap of paint aisle, on the side towards the outdoor area.

Funny, I think I noticed the same endcap at my store tonight, but I didn't notice that they were on clearance.

I would die a happy man if I never had to touch another tube of that **** again. I used to work at a shop that specialized in Airstream trailers and that **** got EVERYWHERE!

Here is my latest score. Apparently someone had opened the miter saw box and ripped off on of the 9.0 batteries. They were out of stock on the 9.0 batteries so they did one better and gave me a 7 1/4" 9.0 kit for 49.99 to make up the price difference. I already have the fuel skill saw so this new one will be sold which should bring the cost down even further but as it is after using the one key promo I got:

The miter saw
2 9.0 batteries
2 rapid chargers
7 1/4" fuel circular saw

All for just over 500 out the door. I'm tempted to sell the miter saw as I really was only interested in the 9.0 batteries but I got such a damn good deal on all of it I may just keep it, I'm sure I'll use it some day.

This is a stupid crazy price on 2"x27' ratchet straps. I was psyched to pay $7 ea and free ship thru TSC on BF. I had to resist buying any, my tongue box is overflowing plus what I REALLY need is more flat hooks, not the ubiquitous J-hooks

They have 50% off Christmas trees, decorations, and lights. Expect to see stuff disappear fast now, I got the last of a couple things at my store. Some display trees were already sold.

The Milwaukee levels are very very cheap now if you can find any left in stores. Also I heard that HD along with Walmart and other stores are giving away the live Christmas trees for free currently ymmv.

I couldn't find any around here at $5. I wanted one, but guess I need to check eBay.

Oh man I was just at walmart yesterday too, but it was a freaking ZOO... I had to park the very far row almost at the end... I'm definitely NOT going back there today...

Home Depot has been relatively quiet the past few times I've gone. If it wasn't so far I would go today but I'm a little under the weather and it's all nasty outside...

Just dropped by my HD on the way home. Was relatively empty with the aisles being taken up with Spring reset material

Ours had the Lesco weed & feed, similar price... I posted a pic on a previous page. Probably just whatever your local HD has left in stock on certain fertilizer they have marked down.

Now that's a good deal and that should be regular retail since the cans are essentially single use IME LOL
Or zero use. My luck with that stuff is about 50%. At least half the cans I get won't work at all the first time.
