There's gonna be one eventually at an estate sale. Guess I'll wait till it's my turn.

Mac: if you don't want to wait forever to score the SWEET deal that about 100 or so local guys want at those sales. you can PM me with your budget and what you need a vise for and maybe i can help. i've been helping members put vises on their benches for a year or more now while slimming my inventory cause i might have a few too many. i've shipped several big ones on pallets too, but since you are local you won't have shipping costs if i have something in your price range that you like.

that little open screw vise might be worth more than $10, but not to guys that own many bigger and nicer vises. it's light duty and not very big, but it WILL hold something.

He purposely shot it back-lit so you couldn't see any markings on it.
Seen some pics like that on ebay too, and then there are some pics where people should not even touch a camera, the pics are so blurry you loose interest in what your looking at...I mean they are trying to sell something, hello??? :headscrat

I think the seller ran out of flash cubes.

And for those who don't know the flash cube looks like:

From the profile, this vise looks identical to one which I was just given. It is marked as a Rae W4. I an not a fan of the exposed threads.
