i couldn't even get a "reply" email. duty charge may be worth it if their customer service is good.

If you go to the page with strength results, Mastercraft is almost as strong as Toptul! LOL

AND the Powerfist box end is just as strong!

The prices do look pretty good, but about the same as mike with the discount from what I can tell, and I will say he is a down to earth guy and makes me feel like am important person when I am talking to him. I was dealing with another tool guy this week and I can't ever get a total or what he has in stock, makes me really appreciate someone like Mike who does what he says and makes good on his word.

Mastercraft makes (or at least used to make ) a pretty good wrench. Ive abused many :bounce:

Im a little curious where these toptuls are made? Maybe even in the same plants as the Mastercraft or PowerFist?

That is very interesting. It's great to see some tests on Canadian brands as it is quite difficult to find such information!

And the Mastercraft isn't even the Mastercraft Maximum. I wonder if that line is any stronger..?

I have mastercraft professionals. Theyre older, from when they first came out. Pretty good wrench, doesnt spread too much. BUT not nearly as nice as my snappys. Pretty close though.

I have some as well. They've been used and abused for 10 yrs now with no problems and they are dirt cheap.

I actually ordered the 37pc shallow and deep socket sets from him. I only made the order because he had them listed really cheap, and I wanted to see if he'd honor the prices. I got the 37pc deep set for $32.79CAD and the shallow set for $25.79CAD. All together with shipping to the US it was $86.71CAD, and it was shipped out Friday night. I should have also ordered up the 26pc metric long combo wrenches that were listed for $97.79CAD.

hey guys, I've been lurking on this forum for a few months and the other day I noticed quite a few hits from this forum to my website. I was surprised to see that somebody had taken notice of the site and was kind of enough to share the link.
I haven't posted here about Toptul in Canada out of respect for wrenhandtools who is an official sponsor of the site. But I just wanted to say thanks to those who have ordered and hope I can help others get their hands on tools they need at a fair price.

Regards,

Looks like Toptul is all over now. Just got the Manila Philippines dealer and bought a few sets. Will put the tools on commercial shop duty and see how these hold.

IIRC I paid around 136 USD for the 3 sets. ( 1/2, 3/8 & 1/4 drives)

Ordered last week and received my order Monday. So less than 5 days to get my tools to northern Quebec. :)

I got 1/4 and 3/8 drive Toptul swivel ratchet. I buy most of my tools at Canadian Tire (socket, wrench, ...) but Mastercraft don't have quality 72 tools ratchet.

Seems like there is more than one Toptul distributor in Canada now. I purchased a bunched of toptul stuff from bfb hand tools. Any ways, i'm a snap-on user myself but decided to give toptul a try. I got to say its great stuff. I bought a 3/8 flex head ratchet, super-torque wrench set, flare nut wrenches, screw drivers and a set of impact sockets. I think their website is up. www.bfbhandtools.com , just in case if any one is interested. i'll post pics of my new tools soon

Here is some pics of Toptul products I picked up. I actually picked up a few more items. Sorry the picture of the wrenches is kinda dark, my camera *****.
I used my bosses snap-on flare nut wrenches a few times and they are great, I just used the Toptul flare nut wrenches and they are pretty similar. Maybe the snap-on ones might slightly fit better but not a big significant difference. But hey the price difference is big.
