Andel and Todd.Brock, Sorry if it wasn't clear; that list was only of people that had not yet acknowledged receipt of a gift that had been reported shipped. (It can cause angst to the SS who shipped, and for those that were saying that they had not yet received their gift.

So there are 30 odd that I just don't have anything to report. it wasn't reported shipped, but that does not mean it hasn't been.

Of the 90 odd that were reported shipped or received, most posted that it was shipped, but for at least a dozen I only knew they were shipped because the recipient said they received it.

A lot of work trying to track this, and its NOT accurate, as some have not reported either shipping or receiving the gifts.

You guys rock. I can imagine how tedious this would be to go back through pages and pages of this thread and try to piece together the shipping status of everyone's SS gift.

I did have a thought for next year. I have no idea how the surveys work I've seen a few times in other threads here but maybe one could be set up on the GJSS thread to make it easier to keep track of each participants shipped / received status. Dunno, maybe that would be more work. Either way I know I speak for my than myself when I say we really appreciate the 3 of you working so hard to make this year's GJSS a success. Merry Christmas.

Thanks Chris, I find that if I make notation in the Excel at least once a day, its not too bad.

The harder part has been helping a couple of people sort out shipping address confusion. So far those all seem to be fixed. I'm real sorry to hear about any lost packages...

I got my Secret Santa Shipment today. It's not ticking, so I'll take a chance and not toss it into a bucket of water. No indication whether it's wrapped, so I'll leave it as is and open with the family and the rest of the gifts. THANK YOU!!

I also got the present sent off to my victim today. It only has to go halfway across the country so it should get there in plenty of time.

I'm with stg454, tracking shows my recipient received theirs today. Don't see where they've posted receipt (forgiven - it was delivered today) or their shipping.

Received my GJSS gift tonight. Had my Trooper friend run his K9 over and he did not alert. The package is not ticking so I placed it under the tree. We will check it again in the morning to see if any oders start emanating from the package.

While everyone likes seeing their SS gift received and posted under the tree, I imagine many don't want their return addresses published. You might want to stick a postit over the address or open it up in paint and draw a white rectangle over it as a courtesy. Either that or just take a picture from a little further back where you can't read it.

I'm a tad worried, sent my package USPS a week ago, followed the tracking to the point it was out for delivery, now the tracking just shows Pre-Shipment Info Sent to USPS, USPS Awaiting Item

Victim has yet to announce received, and has posted in other threads so I know he's been online.

All is good,tracking still shows as awaiting, but victim has posted received

USPS tracking says my package arrived at my recipient's PO Box on Monday, but he hasn't posted here acknowledging receipt. My victim posts very infrequently on GJ, I hope he gets it and posts a picture after opening to show his receipt and enjoyment of his gift. ???

Mine got shipped on the 20th, Oops 2nd day air... but UPS said it might get there by the 23rd, or it might not.

But it's on the way... and the recipient will know it's a GJSS "Major Award"...

Speaking of... I got this *very( interesting white box, one side had my address, one side was (literally) covered with unusual stamps in a foreign denomination... I think I want to cut that panel off the box and frame THAT!!! And yeah... I can't wait!

I shipped to my victim on Monday. Tracking says that it is scheduled to arrive today. However, the scan history tells a different story. The package made an unexpected stop, this morning, less than halfway to it's destination! Assuming no further delays, my victim should receive the package on Saturday.
