my package just arrived via FedEx! 40lbs shipped! thanks to my sender from Baton Rouge!

my recipients gift fit in a flat rate shipping usps box, and wasn't nearly as big! i hope he likes it. I can't wait to see what's in there come sunday morning. box got a hole through it in transit, hoping nothing fell out, appears to just be poked by a handle of some sort.

Mine got shipped on the 20th, Oops 2nd day air... but UPS said it might get there by the 23rd, or it might not.

But it's on the way... and the recipient will know it's a GJSS "Major Award"...

Speaking of... I got this *very( interesting white box, one side had my address, one side was (literally) covered with unusual stamps in a foreign denomination... I think I want to cut that panel off the box and frame THAT!!! And yeah... I can't wait!

South African stamps. Rand is the currency, I believe .

I suppose I spoke too soon today. It was here waiting as I got home from work! Unmistakably GJSS and some fine artwork too. No return address so we'll have to see come Sunday morning. Didn't put a tree up this year due to some light work on the house, so it's next to one of the horseshoe projects I recently completed. Thanks SS!

Really not an issue with USPS anymore. All they give is PO or processing sites and "out for delivery"

With all the emphasis on the security of Personally Identifiable Information these days I'm always surprised as what companies ask for any more...

Recieved mine today. Kinda funny, i got a shipping notification from "Snap On" via my UPS notifications, i am assuming my gift giver is a Snap On dealer. And second, he appears to be from Connecticut, where i grew up. Very cool!

Anyhow, here is a picture of the box of goodies, unfortunately i dont have a christmas tree set up this year because we are going to a friends house.

11 have NOT reported that they shipped. (means nothing as nearly 2 dozen others also didn't report; but the recipient has reported getting their gifts...)

117 (of 128 SS's) have reported that they shipped (or shipping was imminent)

Just to reduce some angst that may be occurring, (and with the disclaimer that this is based solely on posts in this thread!)

The following victims have had gifts shipped per the above, (but not acknowledged receipt as yet) - So be on the watch for it!

The List IS getting shorter! Some may have had their SS report the gift delivered from tracking info. but we really want the recipients to report!

I sent mine bright and early Monday. My wife told me I have something at home, but I haven't been home for a good while. Ill do my best to get a picture, but it won't be until Saturday. We have been extra busy this year. We have been averaging 2.5 million packages a night (I work for UPS at the next day air hub) I'll go back and see if my recipient has his. Merry Christmas ALL!!!

Hence why I cheated and carried mine across the border and shipped from Connecticut!
