Just what 2oolhound said. I've been going out of my way to save older tools and equipment for the nect generation. I can't understand why people will toss otherwise good stuff

That is awesome. I have a couple thickness gages, Starrett and Mitutoyo, but they're hand-held. A bench unit would be useful.

I know. Even if the prior owner doesn't want it, why not just give it away instead of trashing it?
