You're going to pay a lot more for those missing sizes that you did for the Harbor Fright set, whether you get them individually or in a more complete set.

Here's a pretty complete set of metric std and deeps from 9mm - 30mm missing only 25,28,29. Currently $129

Sunex 2569 1/2-Inch Drive Metric Master Impact Socket Set, 43-Piece

I suspect you'll spend that much or more trying to buy the 7 sockets individually that set has that your set doesn't plus you'd get duplicates of what you already have (unless you return the set to HF) and a set of std impact sockets.

I buy as complete of a cheap set as I can, then fill in as needed with used sockets. I've also learned which SAE and Metric sizes are close enough to use on the other size fastener.

I would go to the parts store and buy individual 11,12,16,20 and not worry with the rest unless I ran into something that needs it then I would fill it in

This is my 2 cents, for those missing socket, your local pawn shop will be the cheapest to go get them, usually any store selling single socket is always more expensive, to complete it, it will cost probably more than your existing socket collection.

you will probably never need 25, 29 and 31

you do need 12,30 and 32 though , a few times a year 11 ...

one day I needed a 9 and a 11 ... pretty weird

If you have a 7/16", that can pass for 11. But 12? Necessary. 16 is becoming common in automotive suspension bolts, but 5/8 is substitutable. 20 is used on some steering parts. As you get bigger, it's less likely you'll need the oddball stuff.

Only 16 and 27 are any use, all the others will take up room unused.

Note that he has 27, and 12 is far more common than 16, probably 30% of the bolts in Asian cars are 12MM headed bolts. I think 90% or more of the 16mm are actually 5/8", been my experience anyway.

Depends on what you work on... MB/BMW and other euros I work on mostly: 8, 10, 13, 17, 19, 24, 27 and 32/34 mm (12-pt for axles).
