A recent post gave me the idea to highlight the best, and the worst, or just average, service department photos.

This is the bus barn for one of our contractors.

That is quite the hoist to lift the bus.

My bus guy has one for each wheel (six of them) to lift his customer's Prevost coaches. They are all battery powered (plugs them in at night), synched via Bluetooth (one touch raises the entire coach), and there is a digital readout that provides the weight of each wheel. Left there (East Tennessee Luxury Coach) in Vonore, TN after two days of annual maintenance and fixing a few things. Those lifts are really, really slick!

Wow I wouldn't want to stand under that bus.

I have to admit, I was apprehensive the first time. But each of the six lifts "lock" when you stop lifting the coach. No different than walking under a car or truck held up by a two post lift.

Nice, clear working area under the bus.

Prevost uses both individual wheel lifts like this as well as hydraulic lifts in the floor that are adjustable to fit the various wheel bases they deal with.
