cheap snap on trays- reinforcements?

Has anyone tried making their flimsy snap on trays more rigid? like possibly flipping them over and dripping hot wax into them, or possibly foaming them?

Could you fill the gaps with clear window silicone?

I bought the SO 1/4, 3/8, 1/2" drive extensions new sealed up in the trays. Within the year they started breaking. Just took all extensions out and put loose in drawer, threw trays in trash. Positive side is it freed up a lot of room in the drawer. Negative side is I have to search longer for the right one.

Great Stuff expanding foam. Fill it till it overflows. Trim and shave, once it dries.

Ya you can run out and spend a kings ransom on magic can foam. Or mix up some sponge toffee mix and pour into cavity

I saw where someone filled them with epoxy.
if the original tray degrades the epoxy will become the new tray

Personally I use wrench racks or foam that I cut out
