i most often get my tools at the swap meet, but not always. i've been looking for a 1950s Snap-on NS-15-L breaker bar to mate with my 1956 Snap-on L-715 ratchet. i just won an example on the cheap from an ebay auction.

Awesome. How much did that first round of tools run u

^^^ My most used tool by a long shot. ^^^ I've added a 6' hose and that makes the ultimate mini torch I refill my own bottles from a big tank. The torch will last a long time if you take care of it.
Enjoy
Nice, i am however more envious of that crud thug!!! Been looking for a deal foe awhile.Charge 3 batteries at a time

That's not cheap lol
Kid at my work makes 50$ a week, after tool bills, we make 22$+time and a half overtime
He's engaged...and doesn't pay anything of his own, he complains about it constantly but doesn't get that buying bulk tools that he doesn't need is his problem [emoji849]
Walks off the snap on truck with 500-1000 worth of stuff a week, makes the whole shop sick lol

I'd love to go with one of those...but can't justify the cost when I have 5 chargers already that came with the tools.
I have one of those guys, only worse -- early / mid 20's guy - He ******* about money / not making enough when he was started out at the highest hourly rate than anyone in our shops history....I've watched him, since he started 8 months or so, on the tool truck buy at least 4k in tools for home projects / personal cars and he rarely buys the stuff I tell him he needs to do his job...I recently found out he has, from his previous job, the HIGHEST SO credit balance I have ever heard off (asked him if he set up a whole auto repair shop at home or what ?)....and I had to twist his arm to get him to buy a basic 12v test light for the work we do.....
This kid spent 20k on snap on, bought a 9k box off matco, and about 5k Iirc from Cornwell,
And still buys more, the kid is an idiot, I have made tools but he has to borrow them because he won't ruin his precious snap on that doesn't get used [emoji849]

OUCH! That boy has a problem!
He bought all this and is a trailer mechanic...prolly 10k of what he bought is for trucks, that not only does he not work on but has no clue how and what some of the tools do...we all in the shop think he's a bit "speshial"

we have a "speshial" one at our shop too....
everything is new, nice and shiney...
whole box fulla stuff, of course nothing he needs to really do his job with.
everything he does looks like a monkey tryin' to f*ck a football...

CTC123? Was thinking of getting one. Helps get rid of multiple charger clutter I would imagine. What's the build quality like?

we have a sears outlet store here and everything is just as damn expensive as the store at the mall. are the going out of business sales any better?
My so called me and told me ,and I said lets do itHalf off!! WTF!! Why didn't my guy tell me about that sale? You think the sale is still going?
those really are the best strippers. Especially considering the cost.
