In the flyer it only says something to the effect of "Trade up to a good deal, ask your franchisee today!" Another poster, possibly a page or two back, mentioned he got the free bits with his. So I asked my driver what the air hammer deal was and he told me its regular price, but includes the 5 bits, which sell for over $200. List price on the gun is $425.

Oops, I see you're in Canada. I'm in the USA. Deals may be different. But you guys seem to get better prices than we do, when you factor in the exchange rate!

Thanks for the info. I'll find out on Monday what my driver will do. I'd prefer bits to $50 off. I haven't seen him since November, so I have a feeling I missed out on the bits deal.

Welp, after not even a month and a half, my EECR2 decided to take a dump yesterday, I'm hearing that the latest ones have been dropping like flies, so much so that it appears SO is taking them off the market. Good timing since today was SO tool truck day. He gave me full value credit to upgrade to the EECR3. So far I'm diggin' the color LCD screen and especially the light-up OBDII plug.

These are in the NAPA Real Deals flyer this quarter for 50% off.

I couldn't pass that deal up either. I been wanting the Snap On sets, but wasn't ready to pay. I ordered both sets also. Got the metric set, waiting for the standard. I do have to say they are some really nice looking wrenches!

Too rich for my blood. I'll be looking into the KTC wrenches instead.

I have the SO version so my opinion might not hold much value but, I have held the KTC version in my hands here in Japan and they are very nice as well if you don't mind the satin finish. Carlyle on sale though seem to be a great value, the chrome is excellent and quite a few members on this board use them professionally without fail.

Call me crazy, but I prefer the satin finish. My Wright wrenches are all satin.

Just arrived to replace my worn out Duracell headlamp.

How do you like that head lamp? I'm in the market for a good head lamp which will have double duty, camping, and general repair. I need a head lamp that has a red setting as its polite in camp sites to not have your brights showing.

Well...after thinking I would go with Kobalt or Rigid,I decided to bite the bullet and upgrade to the M18 Fuel hamer drill and impact kit along with the Fuel grinder. I'm actually impressed after switching over from the yellow guys.

I can only imagine that your OCD is driving you nuts on this one as it would be me too. That new SO green wrench rack is surely made by Ernst. Ernst makes a wrench rack to hold 16 wrenches but only in black or red and not in reverse orientation or in the gripper style. So deal with 2 wrenches out of the rack, hide 2 of the most uncommonly used sizes or seek a wrench rack to fit the whole set that won't match the others. Oh the humanity. It's kinda like this......

I have owned black Diamond headlamps for several years and love em. Very durable and bright depending on the model. Compare lumens for price and see u might find something brighter for less.
