I think after tax it was around $90.

You did well. I've never seen a store match another product to the clearance price. They'll give you $50 off the other set but they'll never match clearance pricing, and I've tried plenty of time. System shows 8, they have 0, they'll just say oh well, sorry.

I'm shocked; that's like a $200 discount.

I can't remember the exact specifics, but there was an order snafu involving some Milwaukee tools. The lady asked if I wanted a free battery for the inconvenience, which out of all my retail problem experiences ranked pretty low. They grabbed one a retailed M12 battery off the shelf and changed the price to a $0 or a penny, and sent me on my way.

It can all depend on how their cup of coffee was that morning, the stores current performance, or the alignment of the stars. Some discounts in retail make no sense what so ever, other than extreme customer satisfaction

This thread is such a **** show I don't know if this is a repost. I did search for "speed out" w no results, and now since the conspiracy theorists think we can't use words and only post pics searching will become 100% irrelevant.

Here ya go:

That is probably closer to the true worth. I bought one after X-mas for obvious reasons, and the extraction tip broke off during the first use. Not sure how their cobalt versions would have held up, but these are more gimmicky to me, and a reason why they bring them in for X-mas stocking stuffers (realize they are **** way to long after buying)

Only thing to report on at my HD were leftover Christmas lights, 49 cents each.

Gotta agree these speed outs are garbage. When I was replacing all my doors and half my hinges needed this to be removed, all of these would spin and not grab. Highly recommend the Irwin ones.

I'm assuming many things are on a different schedule? This for instance.

Many things don't adhere to the **.06 etc.

No they don't always...

Typically though:
- First Round Reduction: .00 .06 .04
- Second Round Reduction: .03 or .02

They have those flat phillips LED lights for like a $1.5X I think, I can't remember exact price. That's cheap but I just can't get over a flat light bulb even though it's supposed to be 360 degree light.

I went around my whole store, man they are too freaking organized. Nothing old or leftover stuffed in the back shelves. Clearance section all nice and neatly organized, nothing forgotten about being tagged there. They did have some overstock of deck screws & sheetrock screws in there, full price... which I thought was a little odd but whatever. I double checked a ton of prices and no luck on anything.

It was a little chaotic in the store today with so many customers and also employees organizing shelves so I didn't get to do as much digging behind boxes as I wanted to, weekdays it's so much quieter.

Was looking for a bunch of things yesterday, and happened to find two of these that they said were online only. They were $99 each and had good reviews online. PCA obviously said there weren't any in stock.

Craigslist! It looks like that has the 30A RV style plug on it. With spring/summer coming people will be pulling out the campers and going on trips.

All of my recent 11% rebates were denied due to "Missing Invalid POS Receipt Data". No idea what this means as I copied each register receipt just as I did last time i submitted a bunch of rebates. :headscrat

The chat rep escalated my records upper management in order for it to be reviewed. I have to contact them back in 7-10 days.

These uppers dropped to $75.03. I started to grab both at my store then ran into the local pawn owner who wanted one. I let him have one & told him I expect good will points next time I'm haggling in his store (they're actually far and away the MOST reasonable pawn shop I've ever been in)

Yes, Ign please update your profile and add your location! LOL..

I was searching through the computer today and noticed they had the 36" Dewalt top boxes reduced to $149 (Reg $249 I think)...

Also they finally dropped the price on the motorola radios at my store. I grabbed the last one for $10...

They had some paslode framing nailers in the clearance section, but were priced higher than what you could buy elsewhere?

Holy cow. I would have snagged that in a heartbeat. I need another box because my giant craftsman 42" is about to overflow.

I saw those radios with no sticker just laying around a clearance area so I took them to SCO and said sure I'll take these last ones! Lol Got to check those no sticker items!

What?! $75? Were they labeled that way?

That's a heck of a deal.

This is supposed to be part of the full chest set. It seems some stores were shipped the wrong amount of tops & bottoms. If they scan the box, it probably would have rang up $698. I scored 2 today, but had to show the employees their mis-matched counts of tops & bottoms, and then they rang it with the top only sku, though the box is marked for the set, and got them for $75

It was also plausible the store opened the wrong boxes, and put those with the bottoms on display. Which was a theory at my store, but still doesn't make sense to me that they would even get tops only. That's a tough sell imo

go back in two weeks, maybe they will find the extra bottoms somewhere, and sell you one of those for 75$ too . . . . . .

I've seen the stores just selling the bottoms but they have like $600 on them. I guess that means they will all be on sale before long?

If they scan the sku on the cardboard box itself it does come up $698 (happened to me). Just have them key in the sku for the upper 1001-243-468 and it will ring up at whatever clearance price the PCA says for your store.

so the tops DO have two different UPCs? what cardboard box this they scan for you, the top one or the bottom one, or is there another one?

No. And that's the part you need to be ready to explain to them. Some were confused because it was a different price than the site (like all clearance) or because it had the UPC for a full cabinet
