HF damaged 72" toolbox $767.00 Kalamazoo MI store

I called just before close last night and they had just marked it down again.

The Harbor Freight store in Kalamazoo MI just marked down a damaged 72" box to $767.00. Slides on the middle drawer in the second row from the top are damaged and the draw is sitting under the box. Does not appear to be any other damage. I'm not a fan of the drawer setup or it would be in my garage shortly.

It sat there for 2 weeks at 20% off and didn't sell so they marked it down another 20%.

Sometimes they will let you use a 20% off coupon on damaged tool boxes, I have done it.....
just ask the manager for the 20% coupon discount.

If that was a 56 I would have already bought it. When I saw the box a few days ago in the store I thought it is a easy fix.

I already asked and the associate said no 20% coupon on toolbox or marked down damaged goods. That being said you may get lucky with a different associate or manager.

If it's pretty bad, that isn't a good price.

Only damage that is apparent is the drawer slide.

I just checked on the box. It's down to 613 and change. The manager told me that he'd knock another 100 off it if I took it now.

The damage isn't that bad. All it needs is one side of the ball bearing slide and a little straightening on the back of the damaged drawer.

Will someone buy this already? $513.00 for this is a great deal. My 56" HF had a bad slide and they sent me one about a week after I called. If I had the room I'd be all over it.

I live about 3 hours away, was thinking of making the trip, called first to see about the extra hundred off (bringing it to 513), store manager said no, who did yo speak to, maybe I can have some better luck tomorrow.

I talked to a middle aged white guy with a goatee. Kinda short and was very polite.

aask him what he can do if you buy a inside track membership. i got the 52" top setup for 200 if i bought the 29.95 membership. there was no key and the drawers dont lock but its in my garage so that doesnt matter to me
