I would send that back in a heartbeat, that's not a chip in the paint. That seller is wasting his time if he thinks the buyer isn't going to notice that and send it back or demand some kind of credit.

Which is exactly what I cautioned him of. He let me know that it didn't concern me. He knew exactly what he was doing.

It's not an OG sticker. It's simply a model number sticker.

I dont know what your saying but thats an OG sticker. When do you think it was put on? It was put on when it was new so that makes it an og sticker. Sure as heck wasnt put on a few days ago.

An OG sticker says "Five Year Guarantee by Manufacturer if not abused". Technically it's all in capital letters, and two different size fonts, but that would look awful here.

The sticker on this vise simply says the model number and doesn't reference a guarantee.

Jeez people OG means "original". It has the original sticker on it from the factory which shows the vise has had little to no use. Finding wilton vises with these stickers is hard to come by because they wear off over the 50-60 year time span they were being used

OG means Original Gangster to much of the American public, but it's also a river in England.

OG = Original? That would be no...there's that whole extra letter with no word to go with it.

Too many years of selling old vintage items on Ebay in where OG is used for "original". What the heck did you guys think it meant when it came to a vise?

Guess some of you havent spent alot of time selling and buying vintage antique goods on ebay. Thats fine if you guys dont consider OG as original but what id like to know is what you actually thought i was talking about when i was referring to an old vise as having an OG sticker to even create this silly debate? Try looking through some antiques on ebay sometime. If someone is selling an old antique clock or something and has OG listed it means its original.
Definitely the vise has an original gangster sticker on it:headscrat

I had no clue what it meant which is which I asked. It's not an abbreviation or term I would use. Nor will I use it. But I appreciate your answer and the examples, never have noticed it on Ebay. :)

Original Gangsta is a younger generation term. from Hip-hop about 10 years ago.
Now I'm told often refers to extra strong "weed"

I learned this from my High School students back in the late '00s

To me, this guy is the original Gangster

And then it's no longer "New" and worth less money. You seem to be avoiding the fact that seller would not confirm the defect, just like he avoided it in the description.

Am I missing something? The condition is not listed as new.

Rather it is listed as "new (other)" and the description says LIKE new in the first sentence. This is not new and if searching solely by the "new" category, you need to select this 3rd "new (other)" category.

I have no interest in the auction and I'm certainly not the seller. That said, if I am the buyer and spending $300, I sure will read the description and examine the condition stated.

Only questionable thing I can argue is the sticker they put on the vise.
