I bought a set of insulated Wera's with laser tips a few months ago when they were on sale and they're really nice. My coworker said they wear really fast though.

The laser tip does really grip the inside of the cross head screw,so I suppose it would wear out.
I've got a Japanese Ball screwdriver set on order,I've heard good reviews on them.

Ok this brings me back to something I recently posted w ZERO responses:

If you watch ALL THE WAY to the end, is Wera saying their laser tips are good or bad?

This is THE MOST confusing "marketing" video I've ever seen.

The Wera laser etching does wear-out faster than you would credit it, but still a pretty good driver.

As to why you would buy them rather than the stonkingley good Wera chisel drivers (arguably the best drivers there is if you are ok with the grip) is one of life's mysteries.

It appears that a company called Macfix tools says that Wera screwdrivers were bad.

macfix youtube channel has videos promoting their own diamond coating :willy_nil

keep some pinch of salt around.

You should include the old Stanley clear black. They had yellow on the handle towards the working end. These are great handles, which are very similar to what Snap-On offers.

Also worth noting that the Wera didn't fail until ~14 ft/lbs. That's a lot of torque to be putting on a screwdriver.
