Can't post images from a link

At the title states, I am unable to post images from a link. I have tried using imagur, onedrive, and google photos with no luck. I get the error message about an invalid link. Photos have been compressed as well; no difference. I usually give up and upload the files manually; but it gets old and is a pain.

You need to put IMG tags around the image link. Like this:

Can you post the link your trying to extract it from?

Nope, doesn't work without the HTTPS , just HTTP either.

So opening the original image ( view original) on that site gives the picture, right click the picture and you get a 'copy image address' do this. On this site click on the image icon, yellow box with mountain, and paste in the address. This gives you the above. I'm not sure how to resize...

I know how to resize the images. I already compressed them from 5312x2988 the native resolution of my camera.
